I used alexa to find some dating sites recently and had to come back here to review this one in particular. After having used most of the larger dating sites for a couple weeks this one stands out as being the best. The navigation is the easiest to understand and the searching can be a simple or complex as you like. Their Instant Messenger is great too, though I only used it a couple times. This site made me very happy, its rare to find sites where enough thought is put into how the user feels.

This site can work for you. You can meet friendly, attractive women, I did. But beware, the immediacy of online dating can rush things too much. You can go from acquaintances in a coffee shop to much much more far too fast, and then be left with nothing but memories. So take it slow, and you could find love.

TRUE Truely Unethical Behavior,
This website uses unethical techniques to lure you into subscribing. I filled out a profile with very little information other than my location (New York). Soon thereafter I "magically" started receiving emails from women (claiming to work for True but also having an interest in me) even though they knew nothing about me. It's also strange that they were all from Texas and each email came exactly one week apart! What a scam! I'd love to think that just because I live in NY all women from Texas are interested in me but that's just a dream.
Bottomline: Why would I receive four emails from four different women all living in Texas when I live in New York and my profile contains no significant data about me?
These profiles are not real and if they are, they're being used unethically to persuade non paying members to subscribe. This behavior is unexceptable especially from a site that is all about honesty.

Romantic Planet  A+ Dating Site,
This is not one of your "cookie cutter" dating services. Romantic Planet is sublime in the way that it finds relevant matches and keeps track of things for you. Also, The customer support is friendly and responsive. It seems to have one of the most intelligent matching systems out there. It also has more privacy options than I've seen before. The introduction process was appealing because it prevented the people that I wasn't interested in corresponding with from being able to have further contact with me. You are not likely to find a better site out there. I have made several friends already and hope to soon meet the "one" for me :-)

eHarmony  Much better than other online dating sites,
After reading the exclusively angry reviews posted here so far, I thought I would share something that is perhaps a little more balanced.

I heard about eharmony through a friend who really loved the site... she raved about how much she had in common with the people she met there. At this point I was rather jaded against any online prospects because my experience was that the vast majority of people online didn't fit the profile of what I'm looking for (good personality, intelligent, high values, not grossly overweight)

Advertisers are very good at attracting a certain market segment. I had tried sites like match.com and a basket of others, but I found that they all tended to target a segment of society that I'm simply not interested in. The fascinating thing about eharmony is about six months after I joined, I started hearing their ads on the radio stations I absolutely love... like talk radio and sports radio. So I know they definitely are trying to target people like me.

When I tried eharmony, I was initially put off by the very long questionnaire they use to match you with others... it literally took 45 minutes. Furthermore, I found that I the first time I took the test, I was answering the way I thought I "should" answer... my personality profile and the matches I received reflected this dynamic. After chatting with customer service, they agreed to give me another shot at the profile. Now, I think they have a 90% accurate picture of who I am... and I think that is excellent given that this is an automated personality test. Since then, I have been quite pleased with the quality of people that I have met through eharmony. I still get matched with people that aren't for me, but I meet far more people who are the kind of people I am truly interested in.

PerfectMatch   What a concept?,
This site is different than all those others. Most other sites you log in, search and roll the dice. Dr. Pepper brings online dating to a new level. I found her tests to be very enlightening. Not only about myself but what type of partner would best suit my personality. I put her test to the test; and found out that when I stuck with her ideas, suddenly 'she' appeared! Thank you Dr. Pepper.
Finally internet dating that isn't creepy.,
This is a great place!If you are sick of people describing their genitalia on the other dating sites then sign up here. Dr. Pepper has a great personality test and the site's quizzes and games are actually fun.

All the users on this site that are active seem to work for IMatchUp. I have even had users tell me they actually are paid by IMatchUp. Save your time and definitely don't waste your money!

After being a single woman for 2 years my married friends finally persuaded me to try internet dating. Totally new to the whole experience I joined www.Lovers2.com (a site I had read about in a newspaper).

After the initial stress of filling out my profile (what on earth should say about myself!!!??) and figuring out how to use the site I realized that it was all quite simple after all. Phew!!

I logged on just 2 days later and was amazed to find 11 messages from single men! Admittedly not all were my ideal man - but some looked promising! I upgraded in order to reply to these messages and since joining I have been out on several dates and made many more online mates! I am so glad I plucked up the courage to try online dating and my circle of friends have grown massively - I now feel really positive about meeting someone special in the near future!!!

It's Just Lunch
When I first joined Its Just Lunch Seattle, one year and 13 dates ago, I was excited. For a mere $100 per date, the Directors promised me that I would meet attractive men with shared common interests. Well, the only part of the equation that they got right was that I would meet men.

The Seattle based (I say Seattle because this could be different in other cities) franchise's strategy, I have determined, is to hire attractive women to entice you to join and then with a casual effort, match you with a date that broadly meets your criteria. In a nutshell, all my dates have been practically the same man ( don't bother giving feedback-it does not seem to matter). My matches have all been older, slightly balding, less educated, not cultural men with whom I have little in common with ( for example-my last match was based on the fact that we both like the Seattle Mariners-ok, so there are about 40,000 people at each game. Glad they narrowed the field for me). Most of these men seem more prospects for therapy than a date. These are not dates for which there is no chemistry (3 of of 13 fell in that category) but rather dates with very odd individuals who are using the dating service perhaps because they can not make it on Match. Yes, I am probably picky but one would think that after a year's worth a feedback to the Directors, they would be more on track than at the beginning. So you wonder how bad it really is? My last date showed up in one of the more higher end restaurants in Seattle wearing old stained jeans, ripped tennis shoes and had matted dirty hair. He continually scratched his head and talked about how disoriented he was. Odd, yes, perhaps indicative of some more serious issues-hard to tell.

In summary, I think the Directors are clueless on Matchmaking. Perhaps they should had hired older people with more dating experience. Don't get me wrong-I am sure that this service works well or some people. However, if you are a college educated, white collar, athletic and financial stable person-you are looking at the wrong service. Try Match. I have had better luck there.

Guys- in case you are thinking that you could hit it big here since there is competition-think again. Another thing about the service-they tend to sit you next to other people on dates. One of the best parts about it though-you think you have it bad-check out the next table. I have seen some miserable guys too. Oh, don't be surprised if your date from last time is at the next table-that happened to me too.
