The Top Four Most Incredibly Romantic First Dates

If you really want to impress this special lady of yours and sweep her off her feet, try using one of these spectacular first date options that I have collected from friends and fans around the world. If you use one of the special fantastic date set ups, she will be cooing over you for months afterwards and she will tell all of her friends about this fabulous first date she just had. She will most likely talk about if for weeks on end and her friends will be green with envy. A date never has to be limited to dinner, a movie or dancing. Use your imagination and have fun!

1) The Cloud Nine Date. This date is perfect for brunch or early afternoon and even early evening in the summer months. Picture this: you pick up your date for a special surprise and she has no idea what to expect. You tell her to dress casual and comfortable. After a short drive you end up at your destination where a large hot air balloon is being filled. Yup, you are taking her for what is most likely her first hot air balloon ride. She will be astounded and very excited. But that is not all. After a beautiful jaunt above the treetops and admiring the gorgeous landscape, you set down in a green field where a small table and two chairs just happen to be because you have arranged for a champagne brunch. You should have a scenic area planned and picked for this to take place. This date will be the highlight of her year and you will be at the very top of her list instantly. Before surprising your date with this scenario you will want to make sure she does not have a fear of heights.

2) The “Whisked Away” Date. Whether you live in a small town or a large one, I want you to think about where the closest major or very interesting city is to you. Chances are that you can get plane tickets to that city for less than $100 each. Arrange for two tickets to that city for the late afternoon and a return flight for the late evening. Find a really romantic or unique restaurant in that city and make reservations. Tell your date that you are taking her to this amazing little Italian place (or whatever that restaurant is) and tell her to dress up. Imagine her astonishment when you arrive at the airport. Let her know that the restaurant is in this other city but not to worry, you will have her back home by midnight. Your date will have an ear to ear grin for days.

3) The Bon Voyage Date. This date is perfect if you live near the ocean. Even if you are an experienced captain, take the initiative to rent a small yacht and a captain to drive for you. This way, you can give all of your attention to your date. Tell your date that what you would really like is to order some Chinese food instead of going to a restaurant, but that you would still like to pick your date up. Go ahead and get the Chinese food and then pick up your date. She will be giddy when you show up at the marina. Have the captain prepare a beautifully decorated and set table for two on the yacht. While enjoying your moo goo gai pan you can set sail for a slow and romantic cruise by the shoreline. Staying in and having Chinese food wasn’t exactly what she thought it was going to be, was it?

4) An Evening of Elegance Date. Every single woman I know loves to play dress up. We have been doing it since we were little girls. Tell your date that you are taking her out for a formal evening and the dress required is a formal evening gown. That is all you will have to say. She will be completely thrilled and she will probably go get a new gown, matching shoes, her hair done, a manicure and pedicure, etc. Do you remember how crazy girls used to get over the prom? This will be the same excitement. Arrange for tickets to the opera. A grand opera in a large city is always an occasion to dress to the max. Make sure you wear a tuxedo or a fabulous black suit and pick her up in a limousine. After the opera, take her to the nicest restaurant in town so she can show off her new gown and feel like a princess for a little while longer. She will be eating out of your hands.
